About Ilona Podgorna

Meet Ilona, a real estate agent with an incredible story of determination and success. Originally from Odessa, Ukraine, she moved to the United States in 1997 during a time of rampant corruption in her home country. Despite not speaking any English, Ilona was determined to succeed in her new country. She went back to high school to learn English, eventually graduating and earning a degree in Ukraine.

With over 15 years of B2B sales experience, including stints at Xerox and Ventiv, Ilona learned the importance of discipline and goal-setting. She was consistently recognized for her success, earning a spot in the prestigious President's Club for several years in a row.

In addition to her successful career, Ilona is also a proud mother of two - JD, 14, and Isabella, a 20-year-old student at UTSA - and a dog named Roxy. She's a self-proclaimed foodie and loves to cook and entertain.

 

In 2017, Ilona decided to make a career change and pursue her passion for real estate. She earned her real estate license and has been growing her business ever since. She's involved in the Austin community through organizations like SAFE place and Susan G Komen.
